The members of the Cheshire Local History Association...

Frodsham & District History Society

The society was formed in 1981 and now has a membership of approximately 70.

Our interests range from the local history of Frodsham and District to the wider aspects of history reflected in the topics covered by our monthly meetings.

Over the years the group has published many books and pamphlets covering the local area. Several of these are available for sale at Castle Park Arts Centre. Copies of our publications have been placed in the Society's extensive Archive of documents, books, maps, artifacts and slides. The Society's Archive List can be consulted at the Reception desk, Castle Park House, Frodsham WA6 6SB, and at Frodsham Library, Rock Chapel, High St,.Frodsham, WA6 7AN.   The list and slides are also available on CD. To access specific items please contact the Archivist: kath.hewitt@btinternet.com
