The winner of the 2010 Stephen Matthews Prize for the best article by a new writer in this year's edition of Cheshire History, is Julie Carroll for her article on "The Portrait Paintings of Catherine Harrison". The article introduces the work of this 18th century Chester artist and discusses the historical background to her paintings. Well done Julie!
